Nightlines choose to be a member of the Nightline association. One of the many benefits of membership is password access to the members area, which includes:
  • Resource Centre:  containing a wealth of information and guidance on running a Nightline including:
    • up-to-date information from relevant professionals on keeping your Nightline legal and ensuring duty of care to volunteers and callers. Articles from external organisations and the association honorary mental health professional to use in training and to assist with policy decisions. If you have a question you are likely to find the answer here.
    • other Nightlines’ constitutions, policies, training manuals and advertising posters. 
    • a publicity, fundraising and top tips for training pack, operations guide and articles covering topics such as building effective relations with your funders and retaining volunteers - all made up of Nightlines’ strengths. 
    • access to association brand materials including a series of professionally designed advertising posters for you to upload your own logo and details on to. 
  • Contact other Nightlines: your own profile for you to update your Nightline’s contact details and documents. Access to other Nightlines contact details including the option to email all trainers, publicity officers, fundraisers and coordinators. Contact details for your regional representative.
  • Nightline news and event diary: detail of individual Nightline activity and upcoming national initiatives and how you can benefit. 
  • Nightlines’ forum: a place for you to talk to other Nightlines, build supportive links and ask questions.
  • Volunteer: find out about volunteering opportunities with the association to help Nightlines on an international scale.
